1st September the Hogwarts Express leaves London at precisely eleven o’clock in the morning, and arrives at Hogsmeade Station sometime after nightfall.
It’s a triskele. The spirals mean different things: past, present, future; mother, father, child. Know what it means to me? Alpha, Beta, Omega? That’s right. It’s a spiral. Reminds us that we can all rise to one or fall to the other. Betas can become Alphas, but Alphas can also fall to Betas or even Omegas.
I know that many of you will want to fight. Some of you may even think that to fight is wise. But this is a folly. Give me Harry Potter. Do this and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall leave Hogwarts untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded. You have one hour.
One small fact: you are going to die. Despite every effort, no one lives forever. Sorry to be such a spoiler. My advice is when the time comes, don’t panic. It doesn’t seem to help. I guess I should introduce myself properly. But then again, you’ll meet me soon enough. Not before your time, of course. I make it a policy to avoid the living. Well, except sometimes. Once in a very long time, I can’t help myself. I get interested.
